Melanie's father Tom Maddy was a performer in the Maddy Brother's band and he wrote a song called "My Crazy Old Heart", which inspired Melanie to name her publishing company Crazy Heart Publishing.

Melanie and her husband live in a log home on Camano Island, Washington. She loves the outdoors, creating gardens, making salsa and entertaining family and friends around a bonfire at their home. She has 5 children and several grandchildren that keep her heart full and her calendar busy. She is a talented song writer, singer and author who is passionate about sharing her history of the Pacific Northwest and her memories of her grandparents.

Native to the great Northwest, Celia Marie Baker lives in Snohomish, Washington with her loving husband and their three energetic little boys. Celia graduated form Cornish College of the Arts in 2008. She has illustrated several books for various local self publishing authors. Thanks to a grandpa who let her take sips from his travel mug, Celia loves coffee. She also loves books and spending time with her family.
